Weekly Church Schedule

Our worship services provide meaningful opportunities for seeking God and his direction for your life. Worship is not passive nor is it entertainment. It is a time of praise, personal reflection and fellowship.

Sundays
9:00	a.m.			Morning Worship, early service.
10:00	a.m.			Bible Study, Sunday School all ages
11:00	a.m.			Morning Worship (Baptism as needed)
11:10	a.m.			Children leave after 10 minutes for Children''s Worship Service (except first & fifth Sundays of month)
2:00	p.m.			Chinese Small Group Meetings, in private homes.
4:00	p.m.			Bell Choir rehearsal
6:00	p.m.			Children's Choir Practice (except during summer).
6:00	p.m.			Evening Worship
Fifth Sunday of month
9:00 11:00		a.m.	Lord's Supper, no Children's Church
Tuesdays
7:00	p.m.			Literacy School meets till 9 p.m. during school year. English as a Second Language Classes, TOEFL preparation. Citizenship Classes
7:00	p.m.			Boy Scouts, Troop 78 meets till 9 p.m., usually in Memory Hall
Wednesday
12:30	p.m.			Women's Bible Study, usually - 2 studies a year. From January 25 for 7 weeks, they are studying James (a Beth Moore Study).
5:45	p.m.			Fellowship Meal ($3 donation, $10 for families) except during summer.
6:30	p.m.			Ladies Fellowship, & Men's Discussion Group ("Sitting in the Gate") except during summer.
6:30	p.m.			TeamKids for age 4 through K, and Wonder Wednesdays for children in grades 1- 6 except during summer.
6:30	p.m.			Youth Small Groups except during summer.
6:30	p.m.			Adult Choir Practice till about 7:45 p.m.

First Wednesday, after first Sunday of the month in January, May, & September
5:45	p.m.			Church-wide Potluck Supper.
6:33	p.m.			Monthly Business Meeting. All other regular Wednesday evening activities are cancelled.
Thursday
9:00	a.m.			(Women's) Bible Study Fellowship International (BSF) meets at UBC until 12:15 p.m. during the school year.
Friday
7:00	p.m.			Chinese Potluck, Fellowship, Worship, & Bible study. Pastor Gary preaches for them most Fridays with an interpreter.
7:00	p.m.			College & Career Friday Fellowship (location varies)

Most of the above take place each week.

Schedule for Nursery Workers.

The day of the church business meeting is mandated by the church constitution for the first Wednesday after the first Sunday of each month.

We also have a Chinese Mission, and there is an International Filipino Bible Study in a private home Saturdays at 6 p.m. Call the church office for more information, (907) 479-2440.

This class ran through December 18, 2011. Classes were in room 302, 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. on Sundays. A new class will be starting soon, but it will be on Mondays. We will update the dates as soon as we have them.

Each session is "self-contained" so you can beging attending the group on any week. There is no charge, but if you can afford it, there is a suggested $15 donation for the book . There are plans to repeat the series once or twice a year. Seminar topics are:
