Sunday mornings, we have Bible Study Classes for all ages, including adults, college students, career seekers, youth, preschool and nursery.

Discipleship Training

To help you grow as a mature Christian, we offer various classes such as Advanced Bible study, Christian witness training, marriage enrichment, etc. They are designed to equip Christians for life, and are offered at various times throughout the year.

Music Ministry

Our first full time Minister of Music is David Willis Jr. Our music ministry is integral to our worship. It consists of an adult choir (which leads in our morning worship service and provides seasonal cantatas) , various instrumental ensembles, and soloists. We now also have a children's choir directed by Angela Rogers.

Missions

University Baptist Church believes strongly in missions. The first two listed below are mission outreaches in our own community, and the other two are foreign mission commitments our church has made.

Women's Ministries

Our women's group is a missions organization providing missions support, education, and action.

Mechanics' Ministry

Formed in late 2006, Our Mechanics' Ministry rebuilds old snow machines and four-wheelers to be used by missionaries in the bush. Check out their page to learn about their most recent project.

Literacy Services

We minister to the community on Tuesday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. by providing English as a Second Language Classes, Adult Reading and Writing Classes, and Citizenship Classes. Also available is tutoring for the T. O. E. F. L. test, which must be passed to attend the University of Alaska.
